New drug targets Cancer's fuel line in first human trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug called BBO-10203 in people with advanced solid tumors (breast, colorectal, or lung cancer) that have not responded to standard treatments. The drug works by blocking a key cancer growth signal (PI3Kα:RAS). The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects, both when given alone and with other anti-cancer medicines. About 392 adults will take part.
