Summary
This study tests a gentle exercise program combining Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese mind-body practice) with resistance training for older adults with osteoporosis and a slipped disc in the lower back. Researchers want to see if it can reduce pain, improve muscle strength, and boost quality of life. About 110 Chinese-speaking patients aged 45 and older (women) or 50 and older (men) who are scheduled for surgery will participate.
