New drug combo targets cancer in brain and spine

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding the drug azeliragon to radiation therapy is safe for people whose cancer has spread to the lining of the brain and spinal cord. About 21 adults with solid tumors or aggressive brain cancers will receive the combination. The main goal is to find the safest dose and watch for side effects.
