Scientists hunt clues in patient tissues to unlock autoimmune mysteries

NCT ID NCT06587828

Summary

This study aims to discover new targets for future autoimmune disease treatments by analyzing tissue and blood samples. Researchers will collect samples from 300 adults with conditions like Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, or ulcerative colitis during periods of active inflammation. The goal is to identify specific immune cells driving the diseases and understand what they are attacking, which could lead to new therapies.
