Doctors search for the perfect heartbeat in atrial fibrillation
NCT ID NCT04513509
Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to measure if medication is working well for people with atrial fibrillation who choose a 'rate control' treatment strategy. Researchers tested 13 patients using exercise tests to see if a simple resting heart rate check is a good guide for adjusting medication doses. The goal was to help doctors better manage heart rhythm and prevent complications like heart failure.
