First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at 350 people with beta-thalassemia to find out what makes some develop atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) while others do not. Researchers will compare medical tests and lab results between the two groups. The goal is to better understand the condition, not to test a new treatment.
