First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether people at moderate risk for heart problems should continue or stop taking aspirin before a colonoscopy. About 2,500 participants will be randomly assigned to take either aspirin or a placebo for a few days around the procedure. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer heart attacks or serious bleeding.
