First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares three different ablation techniques for people with persistent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat). Using a special catheter that can switch between two energy types, doctors will see if adding extra ablation areas improves results. The trial will follow 60 adults for 12 months to measure freedom from heart rhythm problems.
