NCT ID NCT06795126

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special augmented reality (AR) game called Little NIRVANA, along with numbing cream, can help children ages 2 to 8 feel less pain and anxiety when getting an IV in the emergency room. About 130 kids will be randomly assigned to get either the AR game plus cream or just the cream alone. The goal is to see if the AR approach is practical and helpful without slowing down care.
