Apple cider vinegar: new study tests its acute effects on Obesity-Related stress

NCT ID NCT07414875

First seen Feb 18, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a single dose of apple cider vinegar can change levels of a substance called malondialdehyde (a marker of oxidative stress) in the blood of adults with obesity after a meal. Researchers will compare two groups: one that eats a standard meal with apple cider vinegar and one that eats the same meal without it. The goal is to understand short-term effects, not to treat or cure obesity.
