NCT ID NCT07625176
First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app that guides doctors through the best steps for diagnosing and treating pleural disease (fluid, infection, or collapsed lung) can reduce the number of days patients spend in the hospital. About 828 adults in Denmark with these conditions will take part. The app is designed to help non-specialist doctors make faster, evidence-based decisions from arrival to discharge.
