Can a simple chat before surgery ease your pain and fear?
NCT ID NCT05435508
Summary
This study tested whether providing education about pain and a pre-surgery check-up could help reduce anxiety, stress, and pain for women undergoing a planned hysterectomy. Researchers worked with 62 women having this surgery at a hospital in Mexico. They compared outcomes between women who received the special education session and those who received standard care.
