First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at 217 Dutch patients who were hospitalized with serious bleeding while taking a type of blood thinner called a factor Xa inhibitor. All patients received a drug called andexanet alfa to reverse the bleeding. Researchers wanted to learn more about the patients' characteristics and what happened after treatment, including any blood clots. The study is based on past medical records from about 10 hospitals in the Netherlands.
