Summary

This study tests if anakinra is better than prednisone for treating gout flares in people with advanced chronic kidney disease or who have had a kidney transplant. Gout causes sudden, severe joint pain. Standard treatments can be risky for these patients. The study measures pain relief after three days of treatment.
