First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a drug called anakinra, which reduces inflammation, can help prevent heart failure in people who have had a heart attack. About 84 adults who recently had a severe heart attack will receive the drug. The goal is to see if blocking the body's inflammatory response can protect the heart from weakening over time.
