New combo aims to outperform standard therapy for tough skin cancer

Summary
This study tests whether a new drug combination (amivantamab plus hyaluronidase) works as well as or better than the standard drug cetuximab for treating skin squamous cell carcinoma that has returned or spread. The trial enrolls 86 immunocompromised adults, including organ transplant recipients. Researchers will monitor side effects, cancer progression, and survival to see which approach is safer and more effective.
