Summary
This study aimed to see if a short course of the heart medication amiodarone could prevent atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in adults after heart surgery. About 1 in 3 patients experience this complication. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
