First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether an AI-enhanced electrocardiogram (ECG) can predict heart problems caused by cancer treatments like chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Over 31,000 adults who had an ECG before starting cancer therapy were included. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost tool could identify those at higher risk for heart issues, helping doctors monitor and protect patients better.
