AI assistant aims to keep blood pressure stable on the operating table

NCT ID NCT07123675

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a computer program that learns from past surgeries to suggest the best doses of blood-pressure medicines during an operation. About 40 adults having planned non-cardiac surgery will be randomly assigned to either standard care or care where the doctor sees the AI's suggestions. The goal is to see if the AI's advice matches what experienced anesthesiologists would do, and whether it helps keep blood pressure in a safer range.
