First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether using an artificial intelligence system (ENDOAID) together with a small attachment called Endocuff helps doctors find more abnormal growths (polyps) in the colon during a colonoscopy. Over 1,700 adults aged 45-85 who needed a colonoscopy for screening or symptoms took part. The goal was to see if the combination works better than using AI alone.
