Summary

This study tested a 12-week virtual education program for primary care providers in North Carolina to improve how they manage atrial fibrillation (AFib). 70 providers joined online sessions to learn about AFib care and EKG interpretation. Researchers measured changes in provider knowledge and whether patients received the right blood thinners to prevent strokes. The goal was to see if this training could improve real-world care for people with AFib.
