Summary
This study followed 364 people with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) who had already received ablation treatment in a previous trial. Researchers compared a newer pulsed field ablation system with traditional thermal ablation to see how well each method prevented the condition from getting worse over several years. The goal was to understand which approach offers better long-term control of heart rhythm problems.
