NCT ID NCT06955286

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study follows 521 patients who had adrenal gland surgery for primary aldosteronism, a condition causing high blood pressure. Researchers want to see how often the remaining adrenal gland fails to produce enough cortisol after surgery, especially in patients who also had extra cortisol production. They will test adrenal function right after surgery and again at 1 and 4 weeks to see how long it takes to recover.
