Daily adaptive radiotherapy aims to cut side effects in pelvic cancers

NCT ID NCT07516210

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to give radiation for prostate, endometrial, cervical, and rectal cancers. Instead of standard daily doses, it uses daily scans to adjust the radiation beam precisely to the tumor, allowing fewer but stronger treatments. The goal is to see if this approach causes fewer side effects while still controlling the cancer. About 264 adults will take part.
