Shorter radiation with Real-Time adjustments could reduce side effects

NCT ID NCT07516210

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether daily adaptive radiotherapy (ART) can safely deliver shorter, more intense radiation treatments for prostate, endometrial, cervical, and rectal cancers. About 264 participants will be randomly assigned to standard radiation or ART, which uses daily imaging to adjust the radiation beam precisely to the tumor. The goal is to see if ART reduces side effects while keeping cancer control as good as standard treatment.
