Shorter, safer radiation for pelvic cancers? new trial aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07516210

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a newer, daily-adapted radiation technique can safely deliver fewer, stronger radiation doses for several pelvic cancers (prostate, endometrial, cervical, and rectal). About 264 participants will be randomly assigned to either standard radiation or the shorter, adapted approach. The main goal is to see if the new method causes similar or fewer side effects while being more convenient.
