Weekly MRI tweaks radiation to outsmart aggressive brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06108206

First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether doing extra MRI scans each week during radiation treatment can help doctors adjust the radiation plan to better target high-grade gliomas, an aggressive type of brain cancer. About 20 adults with newly diagnosed glioblastoma or similar tumors will receive standard radiation plus weekly MRI scans. The goal is to see if this approach better predicts where the cancer will grow back, potentially improving future treatments.
