NCT ID NCT06886516

First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether a lower dose of the blood thinner apixaban can safely treat blood clots in cancer patients who also have low platelet counts. About 30 participants will receive the adjusted dose, and researchers will track how many complete the treatment and how many have bleeding problems. The goal is to find a safer way to manage clots in this high-risk group.
