First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether a personalized exercise program (walking and strength training) is safe and tolerable for children aged 5-17 with advanced cancer that cannot be cured. Only 4 children participated. The goal was to find the right amount of exercise that patients can handle without causing discomfort. This is an early step to see if exercise can help ease symptoms like pain, tiredness, and anxiety in this group.
