Needles vs. nausea: can ancient practice ease modern chemo side effects?
NCT ID NCT07201194
Summary
This study is testing whether adding acupuncture to standard anti-nausea medicine helps reduce nausea better for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. It will involve 90 patients who are already experiencing nausea despite taking their prescribed anti-sickness drugs. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either acupuncture plus medicine or medicine alone, and their nausea levels will be tracked over several weeks.
