New nicotine pouches put to the test: are they less addictive than smoking?
NCT ID NCT07595055
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will check how addictive two new nicotine pouches are by measuring their effects on the body and how much nicotine gets into the blood. About 40 healthy adults who smoke and also use smokeless tobacco will try the pouches in a clinic. The goal is to understand the abuse potential of these products, not to treat any disease.
