New scan could spot sarcomas more clearly, paving way for targeted treatment

Summary

This study is testing whether a special PET/CT scan using a tracer called 68Ga-DOTATATE can improve the detection of soft tissue sarcomas. About 30 adults with this cancer will receive the scan to see if it highlights tumors better than standard imaging. The goal is to determine if this method can help doctors decide on more personalized treatments.
