NCT ID NCT06387485

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using 3D printed models of a patient's bones helps surgeons plan and perform tumor removal surgery. About 150 people with bone tumors will be randomly assigned to have their surgeon use either 3D models plus regular scans, or just scans alone. The main goal is to see if surgery time is shorter with the models, and also to check blood loss, complications, and how well the tumor is removed.
