One-Day workshop aims to ease Veterans' hidden wounds
NCT ID NCT04143243
Summary
This study tested whether a single-day group workshop could help veterans dealing with the combined effects of mild brain injury, chronic pain, PTSD, depression, or anxiety. The workshop taught life skills to help manage distress and improve daily functioning, aiming to be more accessible and less stigmatizing than traditional therapy. Researchers compared the workshop to a standard education and support program to see which was more effective.
