New study sees through older eyes to define 'Visual Frailty'

Summary
This study looks at what 'visual frailty' means for people aged 60 and older who have age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will measure vision, reading ability, daily function, mental health, and other health conditions to create a new assessment tool. The goal is to better understand and monitor vision-related decline in aging. About 20 participants from NHS clinics in Scotland will take part.
