New ultrasound marker aims to improve breast cancer surgery guidance

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new type of marker that shows up better on ultrasound for people with breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes. The marker is placed in the lymph node to help doctors find and remove the right node during surgery. The goal is to see if this marker is safe and easier to see on ultrasound than current markers.
