First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a single session of ultrasound-guided dry needling—inserting thin needles into tight neck muscles—can safely reduce headache symptoms. About 50 adults who have had headaches in the last 6 months and have tender neck muscles will participate. The goal is to see if this precise technique relieves pain and improves daily function.
