Summary
This study looked at how the way blood samples are collected and processed affects the ability to detect tumor DNA in people with early-stage breast cancer (stages I-III). Researchers tested different blood collection tubes, storage methods, and processing steps to see which ones best preserve cancer DNA. The goal is to improve the reliability of liquid biopsy tests for monitoring cancer. 114 participants provided blood and leftover tissue samples for this research.
