Summary
This study looked at how the way blood samples are collected and processed affects the ability to detect tumor DNA in people with early-stage breast cancer. Researchers tested different blood collection tubes, storage conditions, and processing methods to see which best preserved cancer DNA. The goal was to improve the reliability of liquid biopsy tests for monitoring cancer. The study involved 114 participants with stage I-III breast cancer.
