First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a video conference device could help doctors accurately decide which stroke patients need clot-busting drugs or clot-removal procedures before they reach the hospital. Over 200 adults with suspected stroke were evaluated remotely. The goal was to see if remote assessments match in-person decisions, potentially speeding up life-saving treatment.
