Summary
This study tested whether a pill called serratiopeptidase can reduce swelling and improve mouth opening after surgical removal of a lower wisdom tooth. 110 healthy adults aged 18 to 40 took either the enzyme or no extra treatment after surgery. The goal was to see if the enzyme helps ease trismus (jaw stiffness) and facial swelling during recovery.
