Summary
This study tested whether taking serratiopeptidase, an enzyme that fights inflammation, can reduce swelling and improve mouth opening after surgical removal of a lower wisdom tooth. 110 adults aged 18-40 took either the enzyme or nothing after surgery. The goal was to see if it helps with trismus (jaw stiffness) and facial puffiness.
