NCT ID NCT01352949
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study used a special 3D camera system (stereophotogrammetry) to take pictures of people's torsos without any radiation. Researchers aimed to better understand body shapes in people with scoliosis, chest wall deformities, obesity, and healthy volunteers. About 199 participants aged 2 and older had their torso photographed and measured. The goal was to improve the imaging technique, not to treat any condition.
