NCT ID NCT01352949

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study used special 3D cameras to take pictures of people's torsos without any radiation. Researchers wanted to learn more about body shapes in people with scoliosis, chest wall deformities, obesity, and healthy volunteers. About 199 participants aged 2 and older had their torso scanned while standing still for less than a second. The goal was to improve the imaging technique, not to treat any condition.
