Summary
This study tested whether a stricter blood pressure target (below 135/85 mmHg) is better than usual care (below 150/100 mmHg) for women who had high blood pressure during pregnancy. 61 women were enrolled shortly after delivery and followed for six months. The goal was to see if tighter control is feasible and can lower hospital readmissions and long-term blood pressure.
