Summary
This study tested a one-day life skills workshop for veterans with mild traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, and mental health issues like PTSD and depression. The goal was to see if the workshop could reduce distress and help veterans readjust to civilian life. 176 veterans took part, and the workshop focused on teaching healthier coping strategies to replace avoidant behaviors.
