First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested new MRI methods to better detect bleeding inside the heart muscle after a heart attack. Researchers studied 14 adults who had a heart attack to see if these scans could map the bleeding more clearly than standard MRI. The goal is to help doctors identify patients at higher risk for heart failure and guide better treatment.
