New program aims to stop dangerous blood pressure drops during dialysis
NCT ID NCT03171545
Summary
This study tested two different safety programs to reduce episodes of low blood pressure during dialysis treatments for people with kidney failure. Researchers worked with 20 dialysis clinics to see if training healthcare teams or connecting patients with peer mentors could make treatments more stable. The goal was to prevent complications, reduce hospital visits, and improve patients' quality of life.
