Training programs aim to stop dangerous blood pressure drops during dialysis

NCT ID NCT03171545

Summary

This study tested two different training programs to make dialysis treatments safer for people with kidney failure. Researchers worked with 20 dialysis clinics to see if training healthcare teams or coaching patients could reduce dangerous drops in blood pressure during treatment. The goal was to prevent complications, reduce hospital visits, and improve how patients feel after their dialysis sessions.
