LSD trial aims to calm End-of-Life distress

Summary
This study tests whether LSD can reduce anxiety, pain, and depression in people with advanced or terminal illnesses. Sixty participants will receive either moderate to high doses of LSD or a very low dose as a placebo. The goal is to see if LSD can improve quality of life and ease psychological distress near the end of life.
