Summary
This study tests whether a medicine given as a nose spray before a heart procedure can reduce heart muscle damage or heart attacks. About 1800 adults with coronary heart disease will receive either the spray or a placebo 15 minutes before their procedure. Researchers will check blood tests and follow participants for 30 days to see if the spray helps protect the heart.
