Hepatitis d drug may ease liver pressure in cirrhosis patients

Summary
This study looks at whether the antiviral drug Bulevirtide can reduce high blood pressure in the liver (portal hypertension) in people with hepatitis B and D who also have liver cirrhosis. High liver pressure can lead to serious problems like bleeding. The study will measure liver pressure before and after treatment and also check quality of life. About 11 adults with both hepatitis B and D and cirrhosis are taking part.
